Privacy policy
Covers the crupto.co website and the Crupto BTC Terminal application
There is no Crupto account. The application does not ask you to register, log in or identify yourself, and it does not send usage analytics or telemetry to us.
Market data is fetched directly from third-party endpoints — cryptocurrency exchanges and data providers — by the application running on your machine. There is no Crupto server in that path. Those providers see the connection your computer makes to them, in the normal way any client would, and their own privacy policies apply to it.
API keys you add stay on your machine. Any optional credential you configure (Finnhub, Etherscan, a Telegram bot token) is stored locally in the application's own configuration and is not uploaded to crupto.co. We do not receive it and cannot see it. We make no claim that this local storage is encrypted or that other software on your computer could not read it — see the security page.
If you enable Telegram forwarding, the alerts you choose to forward are sent to Telegram's service using your own bot token, and Telegram's privacy policy applies to them.
This website is a set of static pages. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own and has no login or user accounts.
Two third parties are involved in serving it. The site is hosted by Netlify, which processes standard server request data such as IP address, user agent and requested URL in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's font servers when you load a page. Each of those providers processes that data under its own privacy policy.
Payment is processed by Gumroad, not by us. Gumroad collects the information needed to take payment and deliver the file, and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy — we never see your card details. We do receive the purchase record Gumroad makes available to the seller, which includes the email address you bought with, and it is used only to deliver the product and to answer support requests.
Support runs over Telegram. If you message us, Telegram carries the conversation under its own privacy policy, and we see whatever you choose to send. Please don't send API secrets, private keys or seed phrases — support will never ask for them.
Because the application collects nothing and there is no account, there is very little personal data for us to hold. For the purchase record described above, you may ask what we have and ask for it to be deleted, subject to any record-keeping the payment processor requires. Message support on Telegram to ask.
