How you get the file

Crupto is a paid application, so the executable isn't served directly from this page. Buy it through Gumroad and the download link arrives by email as soon as payment clears; it also stays in your Gumroad library permanently, so you can fetch it again whenever you need to.

Only one file is official. The official release is crupto-terminal.exe at 8.35 MB with the SHA-256 shown on this page. If a file claiming to be Crupto reaches you any other way, or its hash doesn't match, don't run it — tell us instead.

Verification

Check the hash before you run it.

This takes about ten seconds and it is the single most useful thing you can do with an unsigned executable. It proves the file on your disk is byte-for-byte the file we published.

PowerShellRun in the download folder
Get-FileHash .\crupto-terminal.exe -Algorithm SHA256

Compare the Hash value it prints with the official hash on the right. They should match exactly, ignoring upper/lower case. If they don't match, delete the file and get in touch.

Official SHA-256

0e18edda43865eb31d70b52e01cc9f8ef763c492ef8ab18318a8ef6044f98d4f

For crupto-terminal.exe, 8.35 MB. This hash belongs to this release only — a future build will have a different one.

Installation

Installing it.

  1. Download the official executable

From the Gumroad link emailed to you after purchase, or from your Gumroad library.

  2. Confirm the file name

    It should be crupto-terminal.exe.

  3. Confirm the file size

    Approximately 8.35 MB.

  4. Optionally scan it yourself

Upload it to VirusTotal and compare what you see with the result we publish for this build.

  5. Verify the SHA-256

Use the PowerShell command above and check it against the official hash.

  6. Launch the application

Windows may show a SmartScreen warning the first time, because the executable is unsigned and new. Here's why, and what it does and doesn't mean.

  7. Follow the in-app setup

The terminal works immediately with no keys. Optional feeds and Telegram alerts are configured from the Settings tab.

  8. Add API credentials only if you want the optional panels

A free Finnhub key for stocks/metals/oil, a free Etherscan key for ETH exchange flow, and a Telegram bot token if you want alerts forwarded. None are required.

On hardware: Crupto holds live connections to six exchanges while rendering charts and sixteen updating panels. It is CPU, memory and network intensive, and may not run well on a low-end or older machine. There is no lite mode in the current release.

Crupto does not ask you to disable Windows Defender, SmartScreen or any other security software, and you should be suspicious of any software that does. If Windows blocks the file, verify the hash first — that's the check that actually tells you something.
